Swallows are migratory birds that indicate the arrival of spring. These birds have a characteristic that sets them apart. They almost always return to the same place where they first made the nest and have only one partner along the way! Therefore, they became a symbol of Love, Family, Loyalty, Home and Loyalty.
They are the meaning of harmony and happiness in the houses where they are hung.
There is a relationship between swallows and the Portuguese people. We are adventurous people who leave home in search of new worlds, but we always end up returning home.
