Swallows are migratory birds that indicate the arrival of spring. These birds have a characteristic that sets them apart. They almost always return to the same place where they first made the nest and have only one partner along the way!
In Portugal it is typical to see these swallows hanging on the walls of houses! They are symbol of Love, Family, Loyalty, Home and Loyalty.
They symbolize the family members. The large size are the parents, the medium size are the children and the small size are the grandchildren.
